This policy explains what happens to information when you use Sumwise (getsumwise.com). The site is run by Poorna Jayasinghe. Contact: hello@getsumwise.com.
The calculators
Calculations run in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us. They are placed in the page address (for example ?rise=6&run=12) so you can bookmark or share a result. Anyone you send that link to can see those numbers, and like any page address it may appear in your browser history.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not set cookies, does not use local storage and does not build a profile of you across sites. SeeCloudflare Web Analytics.
Advertising and cookies
The site is paid for by advertising, served by Google AdSense. Where we ask for consent (including the EEA, UK and Switzerland), personalised advertising cookies are only used after you agree.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are shown a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) before any personalised advertising cookie is set, and your choice is passed to Google and its ad partners. You can reopen that message and change your answer at any time from Cookie settings in the footer.

Ads are served by Google AdSense and the ad partners Google certifies. Google publishes the current list of those providers atGoogle's ad technology providers. If we ever add an ad vendor outside that list, we will name it here.
Your choices
Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time to accept or reject advertising cookies. Rejecting them doesn't limit the calculators; you may still see non-personalised ads.
California and other US state residents: showing personalised ads can count as “sharing” personal information under some state laws. Use Do not sell or share my infoin the footer and choose “Reject non-essential” to opt out. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal and you haven't made a choice here, we treat it as that opt-out automatically.
We store your choice in your browser's local storage under the key sumwise-consent. Clearing your site data removes it.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them when no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because the calculators don't send your inputs to us, the only personal data we normally hold is email you send us.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We'll update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes.
